so many shoes.

Ooh check me and my daily posts out. Unfortunately, not even a peep of a London (or an anywhere) adventure hinders blogging duties this week. Oh, how I am embracing life as a graduate / unemployed bum.

Will keep on doing what I am doing.

Shoe porn, current covets - call it what you like, I hereby present to you my comprehensive compilation of staple, season-appropriate footwear.

Navy, glitter, berry and velvet. Check.

I really need to bite bullet and gets me some creepers. I have harped on about them for long enough.

After a summer of broken promises I have finally uploaded two short posts to The Street Savvy site.

trending: glitter bomb.

This beats cutting your throat to shreds in an attempt to absorb maximum alcoholic 'goodness'.

Back in April when I was important enough to attend autumn / winter '12 kidswear press days, Bon Point on Marylebone High Street imprints a fond memory. The cutest couture house of them all.

Tucked away under the main store, an impressive set of minature, velvet, dolly dresses, cherry blossom knits and prettified plaid lay before us.

I will save the beauty of the clothes for later; stood before us were those tiny booties in all their glittery glory, glistening sheepishly under every angle of the light. Pink for the girls, silver for the boys. Mesmerized wouldn't be an exaggertaion; they guided the three of ours attention for a good part of the thirty minute guide around the labels upcoming offerings.

And would you look at that; every tom, dick and harry high-fashion and high-street house has only gone and cottoned onto this stroke of genius. Bon Point were on the money and I can only salute them for this.

My favourites:

ModCloth, Christian Louboutin, TOPSHOP, Giuseppe Zanotti

Over and out.

NEW IN:
TOPSHOP.

The penultimate week of being a student bum is upon me. How am I dealing with it? Put it this way - a little retail therapy is in order. Making the most of TOPSHOP's 20% student discount this week before that little plastic perk is snatched away from me, I'm gonna show you what I got.
Shoes, 'White Lie' nail varnish, Oatmeal ankle socks

I also got this.

Back to the essay hole,

NEW IN
nude mary-janes.

Finally. The day has come. I have come into the proud possession of the perfect pair of Mary-Jane heels, courtesy of New Look. Couldn't resist a cheeky look into their shoe-lounge on my way to wave off my best mate to London.

I'm at home in Newcastle and my SLR is at uni. Nightmare, not really; Instagram will suffice - its actually the one iPhone app I like to shout about.

They so high with the absence of a platform. I am sure I'll get over that one. They shall go perfectly with that asos dress that arrived this week.

Oh, and to all those who asked - YES we did go into Lily Allen's shop. Its a lush little place but the clothes really aren't anything special. However, she did have a minimal selection showcasing at the A/W '12 Harvey Nicks press day, last month - I was in love. Your guess is as good as mine as to why I haven't posted those photos. I promise to rectify that situ asap.

Hope you all had decent weekends.

Helen,
